Toy companies Mattel and MGA Entertainment have created bald dolls and accessories to give hope to children in cancer treatment programs.
In February, MGA Entertainment announced its plans to launch a line of dolls called “True Hope” Bratz® and Moxie Girlz™ Dolls in response to the social media petition for a bald doll to raise awareness of children going through chemotherapy, affected by alopecia or dealing with a parent with cancer.
The dolls will be available to purchase at Toys “R” Us and $1 from each will be donated to City of Hope Cancer Foundation.
